The audience of SoundFishing are given new ears. With these special ears, they can observe the performative sound installation created on Lövőház Street.
Five mic’d musicians, slipping into characters, mingle among the passersby and create a structured improvisational composition in which they interact with one another and with their surroundings.
A key dropped, a sip of coffee, a pillbox snapping open, the scratch of a pencil. Miniature moments we all pass by on an ordinary weekday. Now, however, the everyday joins forces with the trivial, and—using the street’s real sounds—these moments become a composition.
SoundFishing is a site-specific, “secret” concert: a special sonic experience embedded in the street’s real fabric, which can be experienced only by a group of viewers seated behind a shop window.
